- Submission Period: September 1 – October 17
- Who Can Enter: Open to students in K-8th grade.
- Story Guidelines: Stories must be 200 words or less.
- Email: Send your story to casey.j.grimmer.naf@army.mil. Please include your name, grade, school, and story title.
- In-Person: Drop off your story at the Torii Family & MWR Library (Bldg. 248).

The deadline for all submissions is 5:00 PM on October 17.
Prizes and Recognition:
Winners will be selected from three categories: K-2nd, 3rd-5th, and 6th-8th.
The winning stories will be read live during the Torii Family & MWR Library Storytime & Trunk-Or-Treat event on October 31 at 4:00 PM.
FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY:
Spooky Storytime | Trunk-or-Treat

Spooky Storytime for the kids followed by a Trunk-or-Treat event held at the Torii Beach parking area. This event hosted by Torii Library will be FREE and open to all services.
Run, SCREAM, RUN!

$25 per person, under 3 years FREE.
Join us for the Run, SCREAM, RUN! hosted by the Torii Fitness Center. Bring your own light and run faster than the person next to you...if you want to survive. Register by October 28 at the Torii Fitness Center. Check-in at Torii Beach Pavilion 5 and prepare for the horror!
