The New Parent Support Program (NPSP) is a voluntary program for military Families who are expecting a baby or have children from birth through age three. The program helps Families prepare for delivering a baby overseas and adjust to parenthood in healthy, resilient ways.
Services are provided by qualified, licensed professionals and may be available outside normal duty hours to accommodate working parents.

Support for parents during the early years
If you’re expecting a baby or raising a child under age three, the New Parent Support Program offers extra help. Nurses and social workers can meet with you at home, at the office, or even virtually. They’ll answer your questions about feeding, sleeping, discipline, or coping with stress during deployments and reunions.
We also offer workshops like Baby Bootcamp, parenting classes, and playgroups where little ones learn and parents connect. All services are free, private, and meant to build confidence during the early years of parenting.
