Torii Station 2018 Open Beach Days

Note: This event has already passed.

Date: Jul 4 2018, 11 a.m. - 9 p.m.

!!!!CANCELLED!!!!

Torii MWR regrets to announce that due to projected weather forecasts of heavy winds and rain, July 4th's Open Beach event activities on Torii Beach are CANCELLED. This includes the live DJ, the KidsZone, food vendors, and of course, the fireworks. The Open Post portion remains in effect and local nationals will still be able to enter through gate 4 (Toguchi gate) from 11:00-18:00. The beach and CJ's Sunset Grill will be open with business as usual. The rain date for the fireworks will be September 16th.

While we are disappointed about the cancellation, the safety of our patrons is our primary concern. The projected weather does not make it feasible for us to proceed as planned. Please stay up to date with all the latest by following us on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/toriimwrokinawa or by visiting our webpage at https://torii.armymwr.com See you at our next Open Beach on July 15th!
