Torii Library Relocating to Torii Arts & Crafts

Attention Patrons:

Torii Library which is temporarily located in Bldg 251 will close to relocate to the Torii Arts & Crafts building.  From 23 August through 31 August, 2020, Torii Library will be closed.  Beginnning 1 September 2020, Torii Library will be relocated to the Torii Art & Crafts (Bldg 240) until final construction is complete in the permanent Torii Library building (Bldg 248). Hours of Operation while in Bldg 240 will remain the same: Tuesday - Saturday, 0900 to 1700.  There will be a limited selection of books, games, and movies.  Unfortunately, there will not be any computer access, printing or photocopying available.

We appreciate your cooperation and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Spooktober Event

**UPDATE: Pre-registration is CLOSED, we have reached our 200 participants. Thank you so much! Participants will be receiving passes shortly. Thank you for our patience and cooperation.**

Calling all ghosts and goblins!  Torii MWR is hosting our first-ever Spooktober event at Torii Beach on Saturday, 31 October from 4:30pm to 8pm.  This is a closed post event featuring a 1.5K CostumeTomb Walk with socially-distanced decorated POVS handing out candy (cars spaced out 15-20 feet apart, and staggered start times of 2 minutes apart), and will conclude with a free movie.

Pre-registration is required for the walk/trick or treat portion.  Registration form can be found on this "event" page and must be sent via email at Toriimwrokinawa@gmail.com.  Children must be accompanied by an adult.  Maximum of 200 persons, sign ups will be taken on a first-come, first serve basis and registration will close once we are at the 200 maximum limit.  

Be sure to dress up in your Halloween best for a chance to win prizes (furry friends can dress up, too).  

Movie will start at 6pm, Movie capacity will be 200 persons, first-come, first serve.

Masks are required by all participants and event is subject to cancellation.

•    1630-1800  1K CosTomb Crawl w/ trick or treating
•    1800-2000  Kids Movie (Hocus Pocus-rated PG) at the Torii Beach parking lot
