The Art of Being a Military Family Art Contest

November is the Month of the Military Family and in honor of this, Torii MWR and Army Community Service will conduct a "The Art of Being a Military Family" art contest for school-age children K-12.  Submit your original artwork (art can be in the following categories: 1) Drawing 2) Painting 3) Photography or 4) Other Medium.  Do not submit work copied from another source. 

We will select 4 winners and their art will be displayed at the Garrison Headquarters Building until the 1st week of December.  Winners will also receive a prize.

Registration Information

Submissions must be related to being a military family and can include topics like:  Parents/Family, Transitional Change, Cultural Experiences, and Military Lifestyle.  Artwork should be 8.5"x11" or smaller with 1/4" white border.  Color or black and white submissions will be accepted.  All artwork must include a title, child's age, and full name.

Submissions are due Friday, November 13th at 5pm and can be sent via email to toriimwrokinawa@gmail.com or submitted in-person to Torii Arts & Crafts Center (Bldg 240).
